¿Who am I?
We are nothing, no one and everything. One Spirit having different human experiences.
I view ourselves as daughters and sons of God (the divine energy). My mission is to embody this energy so that I can stay true to who I am and from there serve others.
In 2012, I had a deep existential crisis that brought about an awakening. Art came through me to answer the questions that had always lived in my soul: Who are we? What is life about? What is the reason behind suffering and death?
This search for meaning led me to travel extensively, both inward into my own being and outward across several continents. In 2014, I took a one-year journey that changed my view of life. As I traveled, I experienced life as a teacher in an orphanage in Brazil, life as a waitress and art student in Paris, life as I wandered through Indonesia, and life as I fell in love with Thailand. I was deeply moved by Cambodia, and in Laos I struggled through Dengue, only to become stronger from the experience. As I experienced the beauty, as well as the challenges, of each country, art remained at the center. Drawing, painting, and writing constructed the compass that guided me.
I am a self-taught artist. What my spirit creates channels through me as it flows freely from within. My creations evolve honestly through contemplation and without a preconceived notion of the outcome.
Astrology, an ancient language that lives inside me, also guides my understanding of my part, as well as that of others, in the universe.
I graduated with honors from Pacifico University, Lima Peru (2007-2012), with a degree in Business Administration. I also earned a degree from TAE Perú (2015 – 2018) (https://www.taeperu.org/) in Expressive Arts Therapy. I use this to guide others, both groups and individuals, in their own self-exploration journeys. TAE is a branch of EGS (European Graduate school) from Switzerland (https://www.expressivearts.egs.edu/).
I was born on April 19, 1989 as Maria José. However, at 33 I began using my artist name, Majia Rosé.
Since 2021, I have lived in the Sacred Valley of Cusco. I enjoy being part of this tranquil community, being close to nature, and experiencing life at a pace that is calming and mindful.
Spanish is my native language, I also speak English and French. You can write to me in any of those languages.
